Mandatory Modules

Complete all modules!
if enrolled since winter 2022: Complete at least 142 ECTS
if enrolled before winter 2022: only 12 ECTS from modules "Software Engineering", "Software Engineering Projekt", and "Programmierparadigmen" are mandatory
if enrolled since winter 2022: only one module "Software Engineering Projekt" or "Programmierparadigmen" is mandatory

Supplementary Mandatory Courses

if enrolled before winter 2022

together with mandatory modules, complete at least 136 ECTS

Elective Modules

Together with mandatory and supplementary mandatory courses, complete 162 ECTS.
if enrolled since winter 2022: Choose at least 18 ECTS.

Transferable Skills

Choose at least 6 ECTS.
Choose from central catalogue of TU Vienna for Transferable Skills.

Freely Elective Courses

Choose as many as required to complete 180 ECTS in total. (max. 14 ECTS)

Notes for Transitional Provisions

This module structure applies to everyone, even if at time of enrollment the curriculum was structured differently
If you have already completed a course, it should never be necessary to re-do a larger version of that course!. If this does not apply to your situation, please contact us.
"if enrolled before" does not apply to students enrolled for that semester, only the students enrolled earlier.
Some courses in this list are not held any more. These are intentionally included to inform students who completed these courses about their graduation options.
If you are only a few courses short of graduation and these are still held, you can complete these and graduate like you would have before. However, the new module structure still applies.
We believe there are some mistakes in the official transitional provisions documents. These mistakes are corrected here and are always declared accordingly.
To improve readability, some rules are displayed differently than the official documents without declaration. The meaning of these rules were left unchanged.
Course lists using "or" or are lead with "choose one option" are mutually exclusive, meaning that both variants cannot be used together for graduation.
This document does not include any STEOP regulations.
The "Bachelor with Honors" program is not included here.
Students enrolled before winter 2013 might have completed courses that are not included in this list. In this case, older transitional provisions documents might apply, despite what the current transitional provisions document says. For students enrolled in 2011, this homepage post might be of helpful.
